Consulting Project - Award Banquet

The award banquet was a great opportunity for the students to catch up with their clients, and celebrate what they accomplished the prior semester. After dinner with the clients, focus was draw to the podium for a number of speakers. Mary Horn, a partner with BKD, spoke about the keys to providing outstanding client service. It was valuable to hear the keys of providing outstanding client service from a professional because it gave us a real world view of how to effectively interact with a client. This was a great chance for everyone to evaluate their client interaction over the semester and learn for the future.

Professor Grandorf spoke about the feedback that he received and discussed his perspective of the projects. It was unbelievable to hear all the positive feedback the A569 class received. In addition we heard the perspective of a student and a client. The different perspectives allowed the class to see what an impact they had made on Bloomington, and specifically their clients. Overall the award banquet was a chance to take pride in the work we accomplished and to celebrate the end result with our client.
